The Miss Virginia USA 2023 coronation night will take place at the Merchant Hall of Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, Virginia, United States on April 30, 2023. It is the 70th edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Virginia’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Currently, Virginia has 24 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Wendy Dascomb in 1969 and Deborah Shelton in 1970. Dascomb finished in the Top 15 at Miss Universe 1969 while Shelton was runner-up to Miss Universe 1970 Marisol Malaret of Puerto Rico.

Representing Virginia, Ellen Whitehead is Miss USA 1954 first runner-up, Patricia Southall is Miss USA 1994 first runner-up, Samantha Casey is Miss USA 2010 second runner-up and Sheryl Lynn Herring is Miss USA 1977 fourth runner-up. Miss Virginia USA 2022 Kailee Horvath was unplaced at Miss USA 2022.
