Jack R. Blanke, 40, of Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, United States has lived in different parts of Missouri, USA including Hannibal, Lebanon, Fulton and Mexico. He is Russell R. Blanke and Verla E. Blanke‘s son.

On July 28, 2013, Verla’s father Robert Lee Crandal died in Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Missouri from cancer and heart disease. He was 81.

Jack is on disability and was receiving $1,000 a month from that. He is accused of having sex with a horse a dozen times on a farm on Deer Ridge Road in Melrose Township, Adams County.

On May 5, 2023, Jack was allegedly caught doing that by Adams County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducting stationary patrol near the the farm. At around 12:44 a.m., the deputies saw him standing on a five-gallon bucket and feeding the horse apples while his penis was placed inside the vagina of the horse.

The deputies arrested Jack and booked him into the Adams County Jail in Quincy. He suffers from heart disease and he experienced dizziness while lodged in the jail, according to assistant public defender Sarah Lucey.

Jack was charged with criminal trespassing, a Class B misdemeanor, and unlawful sexual contact with an animal, a Class 4 felony. When he appeared before Judge Tad Brenner, Adams County assistant state’s attorney Ryan Parker asked for $2,000 bond while Lucey requested $1,000.

Brenner agreed with the $2,000 bond. He ordered Jack to stay off of Deer Ridge Road.
