The Miss Peru 2023 (Miss Universe Peru 2023) coronation night will be held at the America Television headquarters in Lima, Peru on May 18, 2023. It is the 71st edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Peru’s Miss Universe candidate.

Currently, Peru has 21 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Gladys Zender in 1957 and the second runner-up finish of Janick Maceta in 2020. The South American country finished in the Top 10 in the international beauty pageant via Jessica Newton in 1987, Natali Sacco in 1996, Debora Sulca in 2005 and Kelin Rivera in 2019.

Alessia Rovegno was 24 when she was crowned Miss Universe Peru 2022 in Lima on June 14, 2022. Representing Peru, she finished in the Top 16 at Miss Universe 2022 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on January 14, 2023.
