Camila Namie Escribens is a Peruvian-American model and beauty queen. She is 5’10” tall. 

Escribens is based in Miami, Florida, United States. Her family owns Limón Peruvian Cuisine in Fresno, California, USA.

Born in Lima, Peru, Escribens speaks Spanish and English. Here are 13 more things about her:

  1. In 2013, she started modelling professionally.
  2. In 2014, three malformed arteries were detected in her brain. She had to receive radiation treatments and oxygenations.
  3. In July 2018, she was crowned Miss Peru USA 2019.
  4. On October 21, 2018, she represented the Peruvian community in the U.S. at the original Miss Peru 2019 and competed against 49 other candidates at the Teatro Municipal de Lima in Lima. She was runner-up to Anyella Grados while Tiffany Yoko Chong was second runner-up. The results were criticized for several reasons including her inadequate fluency in Spanish.
  5. In March 2019, Grados and Chong were dethroned due to an incident during a trip sponsored by Miss Peru. She also attended the trip but she was not involved in the incident.
  6. As Miss Peru 2019 first runner-up, she was appointed as Miss Grand Peru 2019. On June 11, 2019, she was crowned by Miss Grand International 2018 Clara Sosa and Miss Peru director Jessica Newton at the Pullman Hotel in San Isidro, Lima. On October 20, 2019, a new Miss Peru 2019 coronation ceremony was held at the Macarana Event Center in Lima, crowning the new Miss Peru 2019 Kelin Rivera Kroll, Miss Supranational Peru 2019 Janick Maceta and Miss Grand Peru 2019 Samantha Batallanos
  7. On October 25, 2019, she represented Peru at Miss Grand International 2019 and competed against 59 other candidates at Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela. She finished in the Top 10.
  8. On June 12, 2020, she visited Rioja, San Martin, Peru.
  9. On May 10, 2020, she was appointed as Miss Supranational Peru 2020. Due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Miss Supranational 2020 was cancelled so she was supposed to represent Peru at Miss Supranational 2021 but she resigned.
  10. On November 1, 2020, she was signed with Elite Model Management in Miami.
  11. On October 10, 2021, she competed against five other Miss Peru 2021 finalists. She was runner-up to Yely Rivera Kroll.
  12. On May 18, 2023, she competed against 24 other Miss Peru 2023 candidates at the America Television headquarters in Lima and won the title.
  13. She was 24 years old when she was crowned Miss Peru 2023. She will represent Peru at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.
