Eric Michael Sandow, 32, of Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida, United States is the son of Robert Anthony Sandow, 70, and Pamela Reiner Sandow, 60. Robert was born in Texas, USA while Pamela was born in Ohio, USA.

On June 19, 2014, Eric allegedly pushed his father after an argument at home in Gainesville. An Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested Eric without incident.

Eric was transported to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office Department of the Jail (ASO DOJ) in Gainesville. He was charged with first-degree battery.

At around 11:00 a.m. on May 23, 2023, Eric allegedly approached the Dolley Madison Preschool in McLean, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA and asked to come inside and use the bathroom. The preschool is near Immanuel Presbyterian Church and the headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency in McLean.

After Eric was not allowed in, he wandered off. He was unarmed when Fairfax County Police Department officers found him.

Eric allegedly said he was going to talk to the CIA but he never made any threats. When the officers searched his vehicle, they found a handgun, a long gun, bullets and other firearm accessories.

The officers arrested Eric. He was charged with felony possession of a firearm on school property.
