Claus Svelmo Marcuslund, 58, of Copenhagen, Denmark is a Danish music producer who attended Bøgehøjskolen in Årslev, Funen, Denmark. In 1984, he graduated from Midtfyns Gymnasium in Ringe, Denmark.

Aside from Copenhagen, Marcuslund has lived in other parts of Denmark including Odense and Årslev. In 1997, he released an extended play titled “Chrysalis“.

To make “Chrysalis” available to the public, Marcuslund founded a publishing company called Claus Marcus Music. He shortened his last name but abandoned the idea after learning that there is a German artist named Claus Marcus.

In 2007, Marcus renamed Claus Marcus Music as Nixound. He writes, produces and engineers all materials of the publishing company.

In January 2023, Marcuslund contacted a profile of a mother with a daughter aged 7 on a dark web website dedicated to persons interested in pedophilia. He wrote, “I’m Scandinavian, professional music producer/songwriter and lyricist and yeah, I’m also a pedophile.”

“I’m divorced and now searching (for) a nice woman/mom to get to know better, hopefully with the potential of getting together in real life one day,” Marcuslund continued. “Obviously, she must be 100% supportive of pedophilia and incest.”

From Copenhagen, the Danish music producer boarded a flight to the Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California, USA and then boarded a flight to Fresno, California. He was expecting to meet who he thought was a mother of a little girl but was actually an undercover agent.

On July 11, 2023, Marcuslund arrived at the Fresno International Airport in Fresno where he was arrested. He was ordered detained as a risk of flight and danger to the community and charged with distribution of child pornography and attempted coercion or enticement of a minor to engage in illicit sexual activity.
