1. As part of a student summer international travel program, he visited Berlin, Germany; Prague, Czech Republic and Budapest, Hungary.
2. From 1985 to May 1990, he attended the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in Kutztown, Berks County, Pennsyvania where he earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education and teaching.

5. In August 1996, he joined Lehighton Area High School in Lehighton, Carbon County, Pennsylvania as a social studies teacher. While teaching there, he also worked as a part-time sports writer and photographer.

7. He allegedly responded to one of the ads posted by investigators on June 9, 2023 on sex websites as part of a human trafficking investigation in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
8. On June 29, 2023, he arrived at a location in South Whitehall Township expecting to meet an underage girl. Instead, he was arrested there by Lehigh County detectives and was charged with unlawful contact with minor and prostitution and criminal use of a communication facility. He was released on $1,500 bail after being arraigned before Lehigh County Magisterial District Judge Karen C. Devine.
9. On July 24, 2023, the Lehigh Area School District announced that he was suspended without pay effective September 1, 2023.
