Bayle Adod Gelle is a Somali-American man based in Eden Prairie, Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. He is the father of Dolal Bayle Idd.
At 6:15 p.m. on December 30, 2020, Minneapolis Police Department officers Paul Huynh, Darcy Klund and Jason Schmitt fired at Idd, who was in a Chevrolet Cobalt with a female passenger, during a traffic stop at the Holiday Gas station near East 36th Street and Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. According to the officers, Idd was a suspect in a felony and he fired at them first.
Idd died at the scene. After conducting an autopsy, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner listed the cause of death as homicide.
Both Gelle and his wife Nima F. Ade were born in Kebri Dehar, Somali Region, Ethiopia. They have seven sons and four daughters together.

- He was 62 years old when his son Dalal allegedly fatally strangled his other son Abdullahi on September 12, 2023 in their residence in Eden Prairie.
