The Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 coronation ceremony will be held on September 29, 2023. It is the sixth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Vietnam’s Miss Universe candidate.
This is the first edition of Miss Universe Vietnam under the new franchise holder Miss Universe Vietnam Trading Joint Stock Company, which started operating on January 16, 2023. Nguyen Nguyen Linh is the leader of the company, which is based in Trang Tien Ward, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, Vietnam.
Currently, Vietnam has five Miss Universe placements. The highest placement was in 2018 when H’Hen Niê finished in the Top 5 and the most recent one was in 2021 when Nguyễn Huỳnh Kim Duyên finished in the Top 16.
Vietnam was represented in Miss Universe by the Miss Universe Vietnam winner in 2009, in 2015, in 2018, in 2020 and in 2022, the Miss Universe Vietnam first runner-up in 2009, in 2019 and in 2021 and the Miss Universe Vietnam second runner-up in 2016. The country was represented by appointed candidates in 2004, 2005, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2017.
A total of 18 women are competing for the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 title. If facial beauty is the only criterion, these will be my Top 5 candidates:
