Umida Fozilova, 27, Bakhodir Isroilov, 27, Mohmudov Qobil, 23, and Bakhromjon Isroilov, 22, are originally Uzbekistan. They are accused of kidnapping a man in Ohio, United States.
The man went to the Extended Stay America in Blue Ash, Hamilton County, Ohio thinking he was coming for an online date. When he arrived, he was forced into a minivan in the parking lot of the hotel allegedly by Fozilova, Bakromjon, Bakhodir and Qobil.
A friend of the victim who allegedly witnessed the abduction called 911. Fozilova, Bakromjon, Bakhodir and Qobil allegedly drove the victim to an apartment in Sharonville, Hamilton County.




In the apartment, Fozilova, Bakromjon, Bakhodir and Qobil allegedly tied the victim’s ankles and wrists, threatened his life and forced his family to send money for him to stay alive. After receiving $2,000 from the victim’s family, the suspects allegedly threatened the victim with his life if he went to the police.
However, Fozilova, Bakromjon, Bakhodir and Qobil’s attorneys claimed that the complainant made up the story of the abduction and kidnapping. The four Uzbeks were arrested and booked into the Hamilton County Jail in Cincinnati, Hamilton County at around 2:00 a.m. on September 22, 2023.
Fozilova, Bakromjon and Bakhodir claimed they did not know the complainant, who allegedly could not repay the money he owed Qobil. The four suspects were required to surrender their passports.
Bond for Fozilova, Bakromjon, Bakhodir and Qobil was set at $125,000 each. They are scheduled for a grand jury report on October 2, 2023.
