Ring doorbell captures crime of Columbus, Ohio’s Jacob Reidy in Bexley

Jacob Thomas Reidy, 39, of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, United States previously lived in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. On October 7, 2023, he drove past a synagogue in Bexley, Franklin County, which was witnessed by a detective working special duty at the synagogue.

Reidy yelled something about Israel out of his car. Earlier that day, the militant group Hamas attacked Israel.

No crime was committed and Reidy was on public property so he was not arrested. His license plate number was taken down.

On October 15, 2023, Reidy allegedly made anti-Semitic remarks and committed criminal trespass at two residences in Bexley. Wearing a plaid flannel shirt, he drove a two-door sedan that day.

A Ring doorbell captured Reidy going to one of the residences that day. He said, “You Zionist pigs are f—–g disgusting.”

On October 16, 2023, Reidy was arrested at his residence in Columbus. He was booked into the Franklin County Jail in Columbus.

On October 17, 2023, Reidy will be arraigned. He was charged with criminal trespass.
