Starring William H. Macy and John Corbett, “On Fire” will be filmed in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. The feature film will be directed by Sean McNamara, the director of “The King’s Daughter“, which starred Pierce Brosnan and Kaya Scodelario.

Executive produced by Linda Huntington of Radically Inspired Films, “On Fire” is inspired by “On Fire: 7 Choices to Ignite a Radically Inspired Life“, a book published on March 15, 2016. The book was written by John O’Leary, a burn survivor born and raised in St. Louis.

Macy was born in Miami, Florida, USA. He played Frank Gallagher in “Shameless” from 2011 to 2021 and Richard Fuisz in “The Dropout” in 2022.

Corbett was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, USA. He played Trayne Crowstown in “Still the King” from 2016 to 2017 and Robert in “How I Met Your Father” in 2023.

In July 2023, 57th Missouri governor Mike Parson signed a bill giving production companies a 20% tax rebate when filming in the state. This includes 5-10% percent additional rebates if specific filming criteria are met. 

Crews expect to shoot for “On Fire” in St. Louis between November 6, 2023 and December 9. Organizers are searching for actors who could appear in a nonspeaking capacity within the film.

Those who are interested should apply via Joni Tackette Casting on or before November 6, 2023. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
