Rion Page, 31, of San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo County, California, United States is a gymnastics coach. He previously lived in Lancaster, Los Angeles County, California.
In 2010, Page joined the Central Coast Gymnastics Sports Center in San Luis Obispo as a coach. The center is made up of more than 20 athletes aged 8 to 18.
Eventually, Page became the program director and head coach of the center’s acrobatic gymnastics team. As a USA Gymnastics competition coach, he was required to undergo a background check every year.
At around 7:30 a.m. on October 25, 2023, officers from the police department of Atascadero, San Luis Obispo County served search warrants at three locations in San Luis Obispo and Atascadero. They arrested Page and Bryce McGhie, 29, of Atascadero.
Both Page and McGhie are accused of possessing and distributing child pornography and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail in San Luis Obispo. The Central Coast Gymnastics Sports Center has reported Page’s arrest to USA Gymnastics.
Atascadero Police Department officers searched the computers at the Central Coast Gymnastics Sports Center. They did not find any evidence of child pornography.
