Miss Universe 2023 hosts are Olivia Culpo, Jeannie Mai, Maria Menounos; Backstage correspondents are Catriona Gray, Zuri Hall

Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo, 31, and Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, 29, will not only attend the Miss Universe 2023 coronation ceremony at the Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador on November 18, 2023. Culpo will one of the main hosts while Gray will be a backstage correspondent.

Joining Culpo as the main hosts are Jeannie Mai, 44, and Maria Menounos, 45. Zuri Hall, 35, will be Gray’s fellow backstage correspondent.

On January 14, 2023, Culpo, Gray, Mai and Hall hosted the Miss Universe 2022 coronation ceremony at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. R’Bonney Gabriel, 29, of the U.S. won the title.

John Legend, 44, will perform live at the Miss Universe 2023 coronation ceremony. The show will be broadcast by The Roku Channel, Telemundo and Canal 2.

For the Spanish-language telecast, Telemundo will feature Jacqueline Bracamontes, 43, and Danilo Carrera, 34. Joining them are Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza, 29, Miss Universe 2020 first runner-up Julia Gama, 30, and Carlos Adyan, 28, who will be on site bringing viewers all the excitement with exclusive behind-the-scenes access and special coverage.

A total of 85 women will compete for the Miss Universe 2023 crown. Among them are Camila Avella, 28, of Colombia, Michelle Cohn, 28, of Guatemala, Rikkie Kollé, 22, of the Netherlands and Marina Machete, 28, of Portugal.

Avella and Cohn are the first married women and the first mothers to compete in Miss Universe. Kolle and Machete are the second and third transwomen to compete in the international beauty pageant currently owned by transwoman billionaire Anne Jakrajutatip.

The oldest candidate is Yuliia Pavlikova, 30, of Bulgaria. The youngest ones are Lujane Yacoub, 19, of Bahrain, Maria Brechane, 19, of Brazil and Lilja Pétursdóttir, 19, of Iceland.

Several candidates are multiracial. Both Yacoub and Jane Garrett, 23, of Nepal are both of American descent, Noelia Voigt, 24, of the U.S. is of Venezuelan descent, Athenea Perez, 27, of Spain is of Equatoguinean descent, Anntonia Porsild, 27, of Thailand is of Danish descent and Michelle Dee, 28, of the Philippines is of Chinese descent.
