Juan Carlos Ariosa represented Cuba at Mister Global 2022 and competed against 38 other candidates at Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand on February 11, 2023. He won the title.
Runner-up to Ariosa was Oscar Brayan Guerrero de la Rosa of Colombia. The second runner-up was William Vinhote Libano Gama of Brazil.
Mister Global is one of the five grand slam male beauty pageants. The others are Mister International, Mister World, Mister Supranational and Man of the World.

On November 26, 2023, Ariosa will crown his successor in Maha Sarakham, Thailand. It is the ninth edition of the international male beauty pageant based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Mister International 2023 Kim Thitisan Goodburn will host the coronation ceremony with Anusith Sangnimnuan.
