Matthew Lane Smith, 27, of Greer, South Carolina, United States went missing on Thanksgiving Day. The city is in Greenville County and Spartanburg County.
At around 2:15 a.m. on November 23, 2023, Smith left his residence in Greer. He was wearing a black and white hoodie and purple pants and was possibly armed with a knife.
That was the last time Smith was seen. Before leaving his residence, made concerning statements indicating intentions of self-harm.
Smith is 5’9″ tall and he weighs 160 pounds. He has distinctive “stay gold” tattoos across his hands.
Anyone with information about Matthew Lane Smith‘s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
