Jason Dylan Bretfelean, 19, of Hyderabad, Telangana, India is Mister Global 2023. He won the crown in Maha Sarakham, Thailand.
Hosted by Anusith Sangnimnuan and Mister International 2023 Kim Thitisan Goodburn, the Mister Global 2023 coronation ceremony was held in Maha Sarakham on November 26, 2023. Including Bretfelean, a total of 36 men competed for the title.
It was the ninth edition of the international male beauty pageant based in Bangkok, Thailand. The panel of judges had 33 members including Mister Global 2019 Kim Jong Woo and Mister Global 2022 Juan Carlos Ariosa.
Kim is the first Mister Global from South Korea. Ariosa is the first Cuban to win the title.
Mister Global 2023
On September 17, 2023, Kimberley “Kim” Thitisan Goodburn represented Thailand at Mister International 2023, competed against 35 other candidates at the Crystal Design Center Ballroom in Khwaeng Khlong Chan, Bangkok, Thailand and won the title. He and Anusith Sangnimnuan hosted the Mister Global 2023 coronation ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, Ariosa passed the title to Bretfelean. This made the Hyderabad resident the first ever Mister Global from India.
Runner-up to Bretfelean was Oliver Cheung Chi Jie of Hong Kong. Álvaro Andrés Flores Carvajal of Chile was second runner-up.
Kevin Davalos Wei Tai of Taiwan and Le Huu Dat of Vietnam finished in the Top 5. Ruddy Alexander Taveras Vasquez of the Dominican Republic, Bruno Roggiero Barbieri of Ecuador, José Carlos Novelo Puerto of Mexico, Jonathan Albert Lambert of South Africa and Lim Jeong Yoon of South Korea finished in the Top 10.
Lim was Mister Congeniality and Daniel William Wijaya of Indonesia was Mister Photogenic. Maligie Kamara of Sierra Leone won the Best National Costume award.
Kim and Ariosa served as judges.
