Loreece Cross, 34, Cardiae Davis, 20, and Samira Smith, 20, are residents of Detroit, Michigan, United States. They are accused of stealing from Lululemon and Ulta Beauty more than $200,000 in merchandise.

Between December 2022 and November 26, 2023, Cross, Davis and Smith allegedly committed 30 organized thefts. They allegedly targeted Ultra Beauty locations in different parts of Michigan including Canton, Northville, Shelby Township and Warren and Lululemon stores in different parts of Michigan including Ann Arbor, Birmingham, Clinton Township, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Grosse Pointe, Novi and Rochester Hills.

Cross, Davis and Smith allegedly entered the stores, grabbed high-value merchandise and escaped in a getaway vehicle. The three Detroit residents allegedly sold the stolen items to consumers or in bulk to a fence operation.

Chilean nationals Tamara Ruiz-Saldias, 36, Ignacio Ruiz-Saldias, 29 and Jeremy Martinez, 19, are accused of being involved in a series of break-ins in Michigan. Between February 3, 2023 and February 10, 2023, they allegedly broke into residences in Rochester Hills and other parts of Michigan including Ada Township, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Grosse Pointe Farms and Rochester.

On December 11, 2023, Michigan attorney general Dana Nessel announced the arrests of Cross, Davis, Smith, Tamara, Ignacio and Martinez. The three Chilean nationals were booked into the Hamilton County Jail in Noblesville, Hamilton County, Indiana, USA.

Tamara, Ignacio and Martinez were each charged in the 52-3 District Court in Rochester with conducting a criminal enterprise and eight counts of second-degree home invasion. In the same court, Smith was charged with conducting a criminal enterprise and seven counts of first-degree organized retail crime.

Cross is facing one count each of conducting a criminal enterprise and second-degree retail fraud and four counts of first-degree retail fraud while Davis is facing one count of conducting a criminal enterprise and seven counts of first-degree organized retail crime. They were both charged in the 52-1 District Court in Novi.
