Lexi Morgan Powell, 22, of Barstow, San Bernardino County, California, United States said she hates Mexicans when she encountered Eva Ramirez in a Disneyland Resort restroom in Anaheim, Orange County, California. The latter filmed it and posted the video on Instagram on December 7, 2023.
Ramirez was speaking with her son, 2, in Spanish inside the bathroom. Powell did not like this.
“It’s America,” Powell told Ramirez. “You don’t speak Spanish in America. It’s an English-speaking country.”
At the time, Powell was with an older woman. It has yet to be confirmed whether or not the older woman is Powell’s mother.
“I hate Mexicans,” Powell told Ramirez. “It’s true. There it is.”
It was “That Danesh Guy” Danesh Noshirvan, 37, of Los Angeles, California who identified Powell as the woman declaring her hatred toward Mexicans. Activist Edin Alex Enamorado, 35, of Los Angeles later found out that she is also a resident of Apple Valley, Victor Valley, San Bernardino County.
Powell currently works at Target in Apple Valley, according to Enamorado. On December 10, 2023, a video circulated on social media showing him being arrested by Apple Valley Police Department officers outside her residence in Apple Valley.
Along with several other protesters, Enamorado went to Powell’s residence in Apple Valley. There are still no details about his recent arrest.
