James Brian Shillingburg, 43, of Richmond, Fort Bend County, Texas, United States is the principal of William P. Clements High School in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County. It is a part of the Fort Bend Independent School District.
Aside from Richmond, Shillingburg has lived in other parts of Texas including Houston, Spring, Temple, College Station, Bryan, Briggs, Belton and Harker Heights. In July 2016, he joined the school district as the principal of James Bowie Middle School in Richmond.
On March 23, 2021, a woman filed a lawsuit against the school district, Shillingburg, Michael Yelvington, Amna BilalM, Rebecca Kaminski and Jodi M. Moore. The case, which involved a minor, was dismissed.
In August 2022, Shillingburg became the Clements High School principal. On December 11, 2023, he was arrested in Missouri City, Texas by Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
It was part of a sting operation called Operation Naughty List. Shillingburg went to a Holiday Inn Express in Missouri City where he agreed to pay someone for sexual intercourse, including oral sex, for $90.
Unbeknownst to Shillingburg, he was actually communicating with an undercover officer. He was charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Bail for Shillingburg was set at $5,000. The Fort Bend Independent School District has yet to announce his termination.
