Nicholas “Nick” Davi of North Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada, United States has died. He was 40.
Davi, his wife Sarah Hayden Uhl Davi, 43, and their two children lived in a condominium building in Courts at Aliante, North Las Vegas. The children were born in 2008 and 2011.
Joe Junio, 36, lived in the same condominium. She is originally from the Philippines.
At around 3:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023, Junio allegedly shot Davi and Sarah after an altercation. The couple was taken to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, Clark County.
While Sarah had non-life-threatening, Davi died of his injuries. Junio was arrested and booked into the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center in North Las Vegas.
On December 31, 2023, Junio appeared in court. She was charged with discharging of a firearm where a person might be endangered, open murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon and two charges of child abuse and/or neglect involving a deadly weapon.
Davi was a pastor at Grace Point Church in North Las Vegas. Born and raised on Long Island in New York, USA, he attended Riverhead High School in Riverhead, Suffolk County, Long Island and earned his bachelor’s degree in marine science and biology from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida, USA.
For 15 years, Davi worked with large-scale public aquariums in Nevada, Florida and Mississippi, USA. In 2005, he and Sarah got married.
In 2006, Nick started attending Grace Point Church. In 2014, he became its pastor of operations.
