Chris Foiles, 42, of Spokane, Washington, United States was arrested by officers from the police department of Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA on January 12, 2024. He is the former boyfriend of Megan Ashley Stedman, 34, who is originally from Spokane.
Foiles was arrested in a 1973 tan motorhome parked on Wardell Street in Idaho Falls. It was the same recreational vehicle Stedman lived in while she was in Bozeman, Montana, USA.
While in Bozeman, Foiles and Stedman dated but their relationship did not last long because it immediately became toxic, according to her family and friends. She recently went missing under suspicious circumstances.
On November 11, 2023, Foiles allegedly attacked Stedman. On November 27, 2023, he was charged with assault.
Stedman was last seen in Bozeman on December 15, 2023. She worked at the Town Pump gas station in Livingston, Montana.
Authorities have yet to confirm whether or not Stedman was murdered but Foiles was arrested with first-degree murder. He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail in Idaho Halls.
