Jatonia Bryant Jr., 23, and Noah David Roush, 22, are residents of Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas, United States. They were incarcerated in the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Detention Center in Pine Bluff.
The facility opened in 2007. It houses both detainees and post-conviction inmates who are serving sentences or awaiting transport to the Federal Bureau of Prisons or the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
At around 10:30 a.m. on January 23, 2024, officials in the facility noticed that both Bryant and Roush were missing. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is currently working with the Arkansas Department of Correction and the Arkansas State Police to track down both inmates.
On November 3, 2022, Roush was arrested after he allegedly hindered apprehension or prosecution. He was arrested again on June 3, 2023 and was being held at the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center on probable cause for residential burglary and theft.
Roush is 6’2″ tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has a scar on the right side of his head.
Bryant is 5’11” tall and he weighs around 145 pounds. He was being held on probable cause for capital murder.
On July 29, 2023, Bryant allegedly shot Christopher Harris, 49, in Pine Bluff. The latter was rushed to Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff and later to the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas where he died on July 31, 2023.
On August 18, 2023, Bryant turned himself in. He was booked into the Dub Brassell Adult Detention Center in connection with charges of capital murder and terroristic act.
