Wynne Lee is an Asian-American woman who grew up in the suburbs of the San Gabriel Valley in California, United States. She was born to Taiwanese parents.

Lee is 6 years younger than her brother Kevin Lee. They have a maternal aunt working as a high school counselor in Taiwan.

While living together in an apartment in Costa Mesa, Orange County, California, Wynne and her boyfriend Marcus Anthony Eriz both worked in the Inland Empire in San Bernardino County, California. Here are 13 more things about her:

  1. Her father worked for a manufacturing company while her mother Maggie Huang was a housewife. The middle-class family lived in a two-story home.
  2. She used to work at Bruxie in Costa Mesa.
  3. She attended Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles County, California. She missed 47 days in 9th grade and her mother thought she was just being lazy. She later attended Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) in Walnut, Los Angeles County.
  4. On March 29, 2012, she wrote in her journal, “My time is coming. It’s already time for me to die. I can’t wait… So yeah I plan to kill myself during spring break, which by the way, starts in two days.”
  5. On September 15, 2013, she wrote in her journal, “I’ve missed school for almost a week now (three days). I mean I feel really bad.”
  6. On April 6, 2014, she wrote in her journal, “And when you’re ready to let go. When you’re ready to break free. When you’re ready to be brand-new. Loneliness is an old friend standing beside you in the mirror… Loneliness is a bitter, wretched companion.”
  7. On May 18, 2014, she wrote in her journal, “The suicidal thoughts are seeping back here and there by droplets… Therapy and counseling are so not… helping me either. All we do in these sessions is chat. I’m not feeling any better. I’m still not able to handle this at all. I’m not healing.”
  8. After repeated bullying in school, she found help and support through the mental health services offered by the Asian Pacific Family Center. On July 22, 2014, her story as a depression survivor was included in Hollywood, Health and Society’s panel on health-care coverage.
  9. On May 21, 2021, she was driving a white 2018 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen SE registered to her father in Diamond Bar while Eriz was in the passenger’s seat. During in a road rage incident in Orange, California, Eriz allegedly fatally shot Joanna Cloonan‘s son Aiden Leos.
  10. On June 6, 2021, the California Highway Patrol arrested her and Eriz at their home in Costa Mesa. That day, the white 2018 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen SE was recovered from his grandmother’s house in Whittier, Los Angeles County where his father lived in the mid-1990s. Represented by Tom Nocella, she was charged with being an accessory after the fact and illegally carrying a concealed firearm.
  11. On June 18, 2021, she pleaded not guilty to being an accessory after the fact and having a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
  12. In July 2021, she posted a $100,000 bond and was released.
  13. She was 26 years old when Eriz was found guilty on January 25, 2024 of second-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm causing great bodily injury and death. While out of custody on global positioning system monitoring, she is awaiting trial.

  1. If she didn’t do the shooting she should have turned herself into police. Well looks like the charges will stick as if you pulled the trigger nut I’m sure will let her plead down to a lesser charge if she snitches on her boyfriend. I’m sorry all of a sudden your world is upside down.
    Aiden Leo had ended~

  2. The fag Eriz is a murderer. I hope he gets the death penalty. What about Wynne Lee? She is an accessory to murder? How much time does a person like that get?

      1. She deserves to be charged with murder, she didn’t stop and she also didn’t turn her boyfriend in, no mercy for these to. I hope they rot in jail for taking this kids life and causing horrible pain to Aiden family.

  3. This blog was written to make it sound like Wynne Lee is somehow a pitiful person. Just cuz she’s not white doesn’t make her any less of a criminal! She was an accessory to the murder! She is guilty and even more so for not turning in her boyfriend. Stop trying to make criminals sound like good people. You’re killing off the innocent

    1. Since she was the one who slowed down and got behind the mother’s car so her boyfriend could shoot at it, I don’t understand why the DA is only charging as an accessory to murder after the fact

  5. Feel bad for her regardless – probably latched onto this dummy because of loneliness issues.
She should have went to cops ASAP if didn’t know he was going to shoot at car. Mixed up, low self-esteem..no common sense. 6 year old is dead…she will pay; they both will. He’s an idiot, psycho, murderer (life w/o parole)…for her: Life is tragedy for some. 10 years in Jail won’t be fun.

  6. Both should get what they deserved for taking the life of a precious little boy. Depression or loneliness is not an excuse to murder someone. Both her and her waste of a human trash boyfriend should be locked up for life…

  7. She won’t get 5 yrs. likely serve 3 max. They have to charge her with what they think will stick and get a conviction which will be a lesser charge of “after the fact” or similar.

  8. Why is it that little men need big guns to stroke their ego? The big boys in prison are going to have a field day with this little fella.

She is going to have plenty of time to revisit her journal and document her life in prison.

Now both can start crying, “That isn’t me. That is not who I am”.
