Alvin Gonzales, 49, of Cavite, Philippines is no longer an employee of Disney Cruise Line. Based in Celebration, Osceola County, Florida, United States, the cruise line operation is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company.

Gonzales is accused of possessing child pornography. Based in Alexandria, Virginia, USA, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children found out about the crime and informed Homeland Security Investigations, the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
On January 24, 2024, Gonzales’s ship arrived at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida. Federal agents with HSI met him at the seaport and conducted a border search of Gonzales’s electronic devices.
The agents found a child sexual abuse video in a micro secure digital card owned by Gonzales. The video is 9 minutes and 41 seconds long.
In the video is a boy engaging in sex acts with a girl. He is between the ages of 8 and 10 and she is between the ages of 12 and 14.
After being arrested by Broward County Sheriff’s Office deputies, Gonzales was booked into the Broward Sheriff’s Office Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale. He was charged with possession of child pornography.
On February 1, 2024, Disney Cruise Line confirmed that Gonzales’s employment was terminated after his arrest. He is being detained on an immigration hold and his bond was set at $20,000.
