Selena Alexis Antonio Reyes, 38, of Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines is competing for the right to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico. She is a former preschool teacher, a duathlete and a businesswoman.
Reyes and her husband Dino Reyes have two children together. She was unplaced when she represented Pasig at Binibining Pilipinas 2010.
Selena finished in the Top 8 in the female category of Century Tuna Superbods 2022. On February 13, 2024, she was officially appointed Miss Universe Pasig 2024.
Established on July 2, 1573, Pasig City officially became a city on January 21, 1995. Vico Sotto, 34, has been the mayor of the city since June 30, 2019.
The venue and date of the coronation ceremony of Miss Universe Philippines 2024 have yet to be announced. Including Selena, a total of 55 women are vying for the title.
Wearing the Miss Universe Pasig 2024 sash, Selena was officially introduced along with her fellow candidates on February 18, 2024 at the Grand Ballroom of Hilton Manila in Pasay City, Metro Manila. Hosted by Miss Universe 2021 top 5 finalist Beatrice Luigi Gomez, 28, and Ralph de Leon, 26, the event was attended by Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup-Lee, 35, Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Tugonon, 34, Miss Supranational 2023 first runner-up Pauline Amelinckx, 28, and Miss Universe 2023 top 10 finalist Michelle Dee, 28.
Since 2020, Supsup-Lee has been the national director of Miss Universe Philippines. Currently, the Philippines has 27 Miss Universe placements including the coronations of Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018.
