Skyler John Sheldon, 77, of Ozark, Christian County, Missouri, United States is a former resident of West Plains, Howell County, Missouri. He is 5’10” tall and he weighs 185 pounds.
Aside from Ozark and West Plains, Sheldon has lived in other parts of Missouri including Nixa and Branson. He has lived in different parts of Florida, USA including Eustis and Mount Dora.
Between 1986 to 1989, Sheldon sexually assaulted a girl in West Plains. In December 2023, the victim, now 41, went to his residence to confront him about the sexual assaults and he was apologetic.
On January 26, 2024, the victim reported the crimes to the West Plains Police Department. The department started an investigation with the help of the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
Two more women came forward. They accused Sheldon of sexually assaulting them also in the late 1980s.
All three victims were under 14 years of age when they were assaulted by Sheldon. On February 7, 2024, in a post-Miranda Rights interview with the West Plains Police Department, he admitted to sexually assaulting the three victims at his residence in West Plains multiple times in the late 1980s.
