Samuel Davalos Pasillas, 47, of Victorville, San Bernardino County, California, United States is a pastor at a Spanish-speaking church in Victorville. He is being held on $1 million bail.  

Pasillas is accused of hiring Juan Manuel Cebreros, 55, of Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California and Jesus Abel Felix Garcia to commit murder. Garcia’s age and residence have yet to be confirmed.

One evening in October 2023, Cebreros and Garcia allegedly shot a man in Orangecrest, Riverside, Riverside County, California. The man survived and was treated at a hospital.

The victim had been dating Pasillas’s daughter. The pastor allegedly paid Cebreros and Garcia approximately $40,000 to murder the victim.

On March 13, 2024, Pasillas was arrested. Cebreros has also been arrested while Garcia is still at large.

Both Pasillas and Cebreros were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside. The pastor was charged with solicitation of and conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. 

Bail for Cebreros was set at $1 million. He was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
