“Babes” is a comedy film directed by Pamela Adlon, a citizen of both the United States and the United Kingdom. It hit theaters in the U.S. on May 17, 2024.

Born in New York City, New York, USA, Adlon was married to Felix Adlon from 1996 to 2010. She and Louis C.K. created the comedy drama series “Better Things”, which aired on FX from 2016 to 2022.
“Babes” marks Pamela’s feature directorial debut. The screenplay was written Ilana Glazer and Josh Rabinowitz, who co-produced the film with Ashley Fox, Breean Pojunas and Susie Fox.
The story revolves around Dawn, played by Michelle Buteau, who goes into labor while out on her annual Thanksgiving outing with her best friend Eden, played by Glazer. Also in the cast are John Carroll Lynch, Hasan Minhaj, Stephan James, Oliver Platt, Kenny Lucas, Keith Lucas and Sandra Bernhard.

RCA released Sloan’s extended plays “Sad Girl” on April 18, 2018, “Loser” on November 29, 2018 and “Self Portrait” on October 18, 2019 and her studio albums “Only Child” on October 16, 2020 and “I Blame the World” on May 13, 2022. Her song “Is It Just Me?” featuring Charlie Puth was released on November 19, 2020.
In April 2023, Sloan was part of the 22nd edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, USA. On March 11, 2024, she turned 29.
Sloan was born Alexandra Artourovna Yatchenko in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Her third studio album “Me Again” has 13 tracks.
