Currently, the Netherlands has 13 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Angela Visser in 1989. The most recent one was in 2014 when Yasmin Verheijen was third runner-up.

The Netherlands was represented in Miss Universe by the winner of Miss Holland from 1956 to 1990, Miss Universe Nederland from 1991 to 2005, Miss Universe Top Beauty Netherlands in 2008 and Miss Nederland from 2009 to 2023. In 2023, Rikkie Valerie Kollé became the first transwoman to represent the country in Miss Universe.

Miss Universe Netherlands 2024

The Miss Universe Netherlands 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at the Studio 21 Hilversum in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands on July 5, 2024. It is the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Netherlands’ Miss Universe candidate.
