Peru currently has 23 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Gladys Zender in 1957 and the second runner-up finish of Janick Maceta in 2020. The most recent one was in 2023 when Camila Escribens finished in the Top 10.
On May 18, 2023, Escribens was crowned Miss Peru 2023 at the America Television headquarters in Lima, Peru. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Suheyn Cipriani, Nathaly Terrones, Gianella Razuri and Alexandra Balarezo.
Miss Peru 2024
The Miss Peru 2024 coronation ceremony will be held at the Fortaleza del Real Felipe in Callao, Peru on June 9, 2024. It is the 72nd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Peru’s Miss Universe candidate.
