Puerto Rico in Mister World

Puerto Rico currently has six Mister World placements. Founded by Eric Morley, the international beauty pageant is based in London, England, United Kingdom.

Mr. World is one of the six grand slam international beauty pageants for men. The others are Mister International, Mister Global, Mister Supranational, Mister Grand International and Man of the World.

Eleven men have represented Puerto Rico in Mr. World. Here are their names and their respective placements:

  1. 1996: Eliseo Paulo Cortés Meléndez (Top 5)
  2. 1998: Germán Cardoso Méndez (first runner-up)
  3. 2000: Frank Daniel Rodríguez Robles (unplaced)
  4. 2003: Edwin Enrique Iglesias Colón (unplaced)
  5. 2007: Ariel Romeo Quiñones Morales (Top 12)
  6. 2010: Joshua Louis Dalmau Irizarry (unplaced)
  7. 2012: Alberto López (unplaced)
  8. 2014: Alberto Martinez Kezner (Top 10)
  9. 2016: Fernando Alberto Alvarez (first runner-up)
  10. 2019: José Cotto (Top 29)
  11. 2024: Danny Mejia (TBA)
