Who is Georgina Rizk?

Georgina Rizk is a Lebanese-Hungarian socialite, model and beauty queen. She is the first Miss Universe from Lebanon.

Fashion model and fashion designer Felicina Rossi and Rizk are half-sisters. Their mother is Hungarian.

Rossi’s father is Italian. Rizk’s father is Lebanese.

Born in in Beirut, Lebanon, Rizk grew up in a Christian household. She starred in three films namely “Guitar Al Hob”, “Al Malika Wa Ana” and “Bye Bye Ya Helwa” and one theater play titled “Singof Singof”.

Aside from Beirut, Rizk also lived in Paris, France and Cairo, Egypt. She is fluent in English and French.

Before marrying Lebanese singer and actor Walid Toufic Sr., Rizk married Egyptian singer and actor Muharram Fouad and Palestinian militant Ali Hassan Salameh. Not much is known about her marriage to Fouad.

When Rizk met Toufic while attending an event in Syria, she was a single mother. They have two children together namely Walid Toufic Jr. and Nourhan Toufic.

5. On July 29, 1972, her successor Miss Universe 1972 Kerry Anne Wells was crowned at the Cerromar Beach Hotel in Dorado, Puerto Rico by Marisol Malaret instead of her due to government restrictions because of fears of a terrorist attack.
6. In 1975, she was married to Fouad.
7. She was the star and producer of the Lebanese Folklore show at the Hordern Pavillon in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on September 14, 1975 and September 20, 1975.
8. In 1977, she and Salameh got married and honeymooned in Hawaii, USA and Florida, USA.
9. On January 22, 1979, the Mossad killed her husband Salameh in Beirut.
10. In April 1979, she gave birth to Ali Salameh in Beirut.
