• On July 20, 1963, she represented Brazil at Miss Universe 1963 and competed against 49 other candidates at the Miami Beach Auditorium in Miami Beach. She won the title.
• On August 7, 1963, she was one of the foreign representatives in the opening day festivities of the Capital Plaza Mall in Landover Hills, Maryland, USA.

1964

• On July 4, 1964, she went back to Maracanãzinho in Rio de Janeiro to crown her successor Miss Brasil 1964 Ângela Vasconcelos.
• On August 1, 1964, she crowned her successor Miss Universe 1964 Corinna Tsopei at the Miami Beach Convention Hall.

2023

• On May 6, 2023, she attended Miss Universo Rio Grande do Sul 2023, which was won by Maria Brechane.
• In her honor, Miguel Alcade designed the Miss Universe Brazil 2023 crown called IEDA, which Brechane won on July 8, 2023.

2024

• On September 19, 2024, she attended the coronation of Miss Brazil 2024 Luana Cavalcante at Teatro Gamaro in São Paulo, Brazil.

2025

• On February 13, 2025, she crowned Miss Brazil 2025 Gabriela Lacerda at Coliseu Convenções in Barueri, São Paulo while Cavalcante did not attend the coronation.
