Ruth Marie Moravetz Caufield was an American woman born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States to Richard Moravetz and Naoma Blake Moravetz. Caufield was Tim Alan Caufield‘s wife.

Tim and Ruth have a son named David L. Caufield and a daughter named Karen M. Caufield. Benjamin Mogen and Karen have a daughter named Madison May Mogen, who was born in Eugene, Oregon, USA on May 25, 2001.

Madison attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, USA. On November 13, 2022, she, Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves and Xana Kernodle were fatally stabbed in Moscow allegedly by Bryan Kohberger.
