Dr. Amal Rezk
 founded Miss Eco Queen in 2015 in collaboration with Let’s Take Care of the Planet (LTCP), a United Nations’ project launched in Brazil in response to the United Nations’ Decade of Education for Sustainable Development. The competition was renamed Miss Eco Universe in 2016 then Miss Eco International in 2017.

Miss Eco International 2024

Angelina Usanova was 26 years old when she represented Ukraine at Miss Eco International 2024. She competed against 41 other candidates at Triumph Luxury Hotel in Cairo, Egypt on April 29, 2024.

Usanova won the title. She is the first ever Miss Eco International from Ukraine.

Runner-up to Usanova was Chantal Schmidt of the Philippines. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Nikita Dani of Canada, Fabiane Alcarde Goia of Brazil and Valerie Avril of Indonesia.

Miss Eco International 2025

On the evening of April 19, 2025, Usanova will crown her successor at the Al Zahraa Ballroom of Hilton Green Plaza in Alexandria, Egypt. It is the 10th edition of the international beauty pageant.
