Wayne Martin Messam is the 10th and incumbent mayor of Miramar, Broward County, Florida, United States. He was born in South Bay, Florida to Jamaican parents Hubert Messam and Delsey Virginia Messam.
BIOGRAPHY
Wayne is a Jamaican-American politician and businessman. He and his wife Angela Sands Messam have three children together namely Wayne Messam II, Kayla Sarah Messam and Kyla Alexis Messam.
A former student athlete, Wayne is an alumnus of Glades Central Community High School in Belle Grade, Palm Beach County, Florida and Florida State University in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida. He is a licensed general contractor with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation.
