Dayanara Torres Delgado is the third Miss Universe from Puerto Rico. She represented the unincorporated United States territory in the 33rd edition of Miss International and the 42nd edition of Miss Universe.

Torres is a Puerto Rican actress, singer, model, writer and beauty queen born in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, United States to Jose Torres Lopez and Luz Delgado. Dayanara graduated from Colegio Santa Rosa in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

Dayanara and Marco Antonio Muñiz, who is professionally known as Marc Anthony, have two sons together namely Cristian Anthony Muñiz and Ryan Anthony Muñiz. She has two older brothers namely José Torres and Joey Torres and a younger sister named Jeannette Torres Alvarez.
