Also nominated for the category were Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift.

In the Artist of the Year category alone, BTS emerged victorious over a formidable field of music industry heavyweights like Swift, Bieber, Styles and Carpenter.

During the acceptance speech, leader RM expressed deep gratitude to their supporters. He said, “Since this is a fan-voted award, our biggest thanks and gratitude, as always, go to Armys all over the world.”

Following the Las Vegas residency of BTS at the Allegiant Stadium, the group is set to continue their global tour, with upcoming dates in Busan, a European leg, and a high-profile appearance at the FIFA World Cup halftime show in New Jersey, USA in July 2026.
