Dr. Amaal Rezk founded Miss Eco Queen in 2015. The international beauty pageant was established in collaboration with Let’s Take Care of the Planet (LTCP), a United Nations project launched in Brazil in response to the U.N. Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
The competition was renamed Miss Eco Universe in 2016 and Miss Eco International in 2017. Also founded by Rezk, its male counterpart Mister Eco International started in 2026.
Mister Eco International 2026 candidates
Hosted by Miss World Asia 2025 Krishnah Gravidez and Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Bea Millan-Windorski, the Mister Eco International 2026 coronation ceremony will be held at the Cordillera International Convention Hall of Baguio Country Club in Baguio City, Philippines on June 11, 2026. It is the inaugural edition of the international beauty pageant based in Alexandria, Egypt.

Mister Eco International 2026 activities
Based in Alexandria, Egypt, Mister Eco International promotes environmental awareness, sustainability, and eco-conscious living. It celebrates men who champion green initiatives and inspire positive change for the planet.
On June 4, 2026, the Mister Eco International 2026 candidates arrived at the Lime Hotels and Resorts in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines where they were sashed by Manhunt International Male Supermodel 2022 first runner-up Joshua Raphael Benipayo de Sequera. On June 5, 2026, the candidates participated in a biodiversity conservation seminar led by the Haribon Foundation and Diwa Castillo, who talked about the importance of protecting ecosystems, preserving wildlife, and safeguarding the natural heritage that future generations will inherit.
On June 6, 2026, the candidates took part in a clean-up drive at the Lime Hotels and Resorts before their swimwear and formal wear photo shoots. On June 7, 2026, they traveled to Baguio City.
