The Philippine pageantry landscape is undergoing a monumental shift with the launch of Reina Filipinas, a brand-new organization poised to elevate local production values to a global standard. Officially introduced during a grand media conference at the Newport World Resorts in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines, the organization marks a fresh chapter for the Miss Grand International (MGI) franchise in the country, which was previously held by Arnold Vegafria’s ALV Talents Circuit.
Jojo Bragais
At the helm of this grand venture is shoe designer and Jojo Bragais Shoes chief executive officer Jojo Bragais, who steps in as president. Joining him is Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao as national director, while Miss Grand International founder and president Nawat Itsaragrisil serves as an executive partner. To ensure a world-class spectacle, Itsaragrisil is closely collaborating with Bragais’ team, even flying in specialized broadcast equipment from Bangkok, Thailand.
The star-studded launch was graced by reigning MGI 2024 Christine Juliane Opiaza, alongside MGI All Stars 2026 winner Vanessa Pulgarin of Colombia and Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados. Backing the executive trio is an elite creative and operational committee, featuring:
- Show Director: Ralph Ryan Rafael
- Fashion Director: Mak Tumang
- Creative Director: Rod Singh
- Digital Creative Director: Jun Morden
- Behind-the-Scenes Director: Bebs Gohetia
