Uganda is one of the two African countries making a Miss Universe debut in 2026. The other one is Niger, which will be represented by Zoulahatou Amadou, 24.

Joram Model Management (JMM) founder and chief executive officer Joram Job Muzira is the national director of Miss Universe Uganda. He is an international model scout, fashion entrepreneur, creative director, show producer and talent developer.

Muzira served as a judge for the casting of the national beauty pageant. He was joined by A Woman’s Worth founder and CEO Susan Geurts, Afro R&B gospel artist and actor Rachel K and Miss Uganda 2001 second runner-up Natasha Sinayobye.

Miss Universe Uganda 2026 contestants

Miss Universe Uganda is based in Kabalagala, Kampala, Uganda. The date and venue of the coronation ceremony of its inaugural edition have yet to be finalized but the target date is August 1, 2026.

On June 11, 2026, the list of the 25 women competing for the Miss Universe Uganda 2026 was revealed. Here are the candidates:
