MISTER SUPRANATIONAL

Headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, Mister Supranational was founded by Gerardo Von Lipinsky in 2016. Its female counterpart Miss Supranational was launched in 2009.

On December 3, 2016, Ali Ghafori represented Sweden at Mister Supranational 2016 and competed against 36 other candidates at the Miejski Osrodek Sportu i Rekreacji (MOSIR) in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. He finished in the Top 20.

Both Krynica-Zdrój and Stockholm serve as representative destinations within their respective geographical regions. The former is a Polish mountain resort focused on mineral water therapy and winter sports while the latter is a Nordic capital city with an island geography.

Stockholm is built across 14 islands where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. As a Scandinavian financial and cultural center, it features historic sites such as Gamla Stan (the city’s medieval old town), modern design institutions, and proximity to the Stockholm archipelago.

In contrast, Krynica-Zdrój is a historic spa town in the Beskid Sądecki mountain range of southern Poland. Known historically as the pearl of Polish spas, the town is centered around therapeutic mineral water springs—including the Zuber spring—alongside ski slopes and forested walking trails.
