Marvel Studios has officially confirmed that “Black Panther 3” is in development, scheduling the highly anticipated threequel for a theatrical release on December 15, 2028. A major highlight of the upcoming sequel is the addition of legendary actor Denzel Washington to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Coogler revealed that he specifically wrote a role for Washington, whom he called “the greatest living actor.” Washington previously confirmed his involvement, noting that Coogler is crafting a character tailored specifically for him as he prepares to transition into retirement from acting in the coming years.

The cast will also feature David Jonsson, who joins as an older version of T’Challa’s son—a character first introduced as a child at the end of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever“. Returning franchise stars include Letitia Wright as Shuri and Winston Duke as M’Baku, ensuring a blend of familiar faces alongside new key additions to Wakanda’s ongoing story.

Marvel Films was founded on December 7, 1993 and renamed Marvel Studios on August 7, 1996. It is based in Burbank, California, United States, which is around 2,800 miles away from Mount Vernon, New York, USA.
