The Professional Fightings League held “PFL Charlotte” at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States on August 7, 2026. This is the mixed martial arts league’s second event in the city.

Bryan “The Butcher” Battle, 31, of Charlotte and Dalton “Hercules” Rosta, 30, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, USA headlined “PFL Charlotte”. The former defeated the latter via split decision.
In the co-main event, Simeon “Smooth” Powell, 27, of London, England, United Kingdom put on a strong performance, outworking Dovlet “Wolfhound” Yagshimuradov, 37, of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan to pick up the split decision win. Powell was one step ahead of the former PFL Light Heavyweight Champion throughout all three rounds to secure the victory and position himself a step closer title contention.
Aaron Jeffery, 33, of Tillsonburg, Ontario, Canada was dominant from bell to bell as he battered Josh “Coninha” Silveira, 33, of Miami Beach, Florida, USA for three rounds en route to a unanimous decision win. Jeffrey was the aggressor all throughout the fight as he punished Silveira with strikes, and came close to getting a finish a number of times before ultimately going to the judges scorecards.
Former PFL Europe Bantamweight Champion Lewis “The McGrizzla” McGrillen, 25, of Manchester, England emerged victorious from a brutal three-round war against Brandon Lewis, 29, of Port Richey, Florida, winning by unanimous decision. In a bout that had the Charlotte fans on their feet, the two hit each other with their best shots, trading strikes and takedowns. In the end, it was the fighter from Manchester leaving with his hand raised.
In the main card opener, Josh Fremd, 32, of Connelsville, Pennsylvania bucked a slow start and knocked out Jhony Gregory, 32, of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the second round. The Brazilian contender started out strong, but began to lose steam, opening the door for his American opponent to mount a comeback. The fighter from Connelsville landed a brutal combination of punches in the second round to put the gassed-out his Brazilian opponent away for good.
