The Mister Empyrean Japan 2026 coronation ceremony will be held in Tokyo, Japan on August 28, 2026. It is the inaugural edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Mister Empyrean candidate of the country.

Set to officially debut on October 10, 2026, Japan’s upcoming Sushi Bus introduces a surreal mobile dining experience. Developed by Sushi Bus Co. and Willer Across, the modified open-top double-decker restaurant bus features a functional sushi conveyor belt on its upper deck, supplied via an internal elevator from a kitchen on the lower floor. It will run 70-minute sightseeing tours departing near Tokyo Station.

A study published in Frontiers in Water highlights how “gentle power”—defined as mutual trust and collaboration between local government, citizens, and farmers—successfully preserves Tokyo’s satoyama landscapes. Located in suburban areas like the Zushi-Onoji Historical and Environmental Conservation Area, these traditional rural ecosystems serve as critical habitats for vulnerable local wildlife, including the Tokyo salamander and the Tokyo Daruma pond frog.
