Santo Domingo’s Joheirry Mola wins Miss World 2026 in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa

Joheirry Mola Dominguez represented the Distrito Nacoional of the Dominican Republic in the 21st edition of Miss Mundo Dominicana. She represented the country in the ninth edition of Miss Teen Americas and the 73rd edition of Miss World.

BIOGRAPHY

Mola is a Dominican-American teacher, news correspondent, model and beauty queen who teaches literature and social studies in English. She was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Jovanny Mola and Heiddy Mola.

Joheirry is an alumna of the Colegio Cristo de los Milagros and Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), which was both in Santo Domingo. Before winning Miss World 2026, she taught literature and social studies in English while running a social initiative called Voices of Tomorrow, which aims to empower children and young people by providing them with access to English-language education.
