A coordinated multi-agency operation in Northglenn, Colorado, United States led to the arrest of four homicide suspects wanted out of Texas, USA. The U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force apprehended the individuals following an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred on September 11, 2026 in Lewisville, Texas.
Gabriel Olivo
Gabriel Olivo Olivo, 28, was the primary target of a felony arrest warrant for first-degree murder issued on September 15, 2026 by the Lewisville Police Department. The warrant stemmed from a targeted shooting at an apartment complex located on East Corporate Drive in Lewisville.
Investigators from the Lewisville Police Department determined early in the probe that multiple individuals were involved. After intelligence gathered by the U.S. Marshals Service and Homeland Security Investigations indicated the suspects had fled to the Denver metropolitan area, the case was handed over to the Colorado Violent Offender Task Force.
On September 21, 2026, task force members placed a residence in the 3400 block of 105th Court in Northglenn under surveillance. Authorities positively identified Olivo alongside several persons of interest.
Because of the violent nature of the charges and the potential for armed suspects, the task force enlisted the Colorado State Patrol Special Operations and Response team. During the joint tactical operation, law enforcement safely detained Olivo and three others namely Erian Espinoza-Martinez, 20, Carly Guerrero-Aguero, 20, and a fourth juvenile suspect whose identity is withheld due to age. Subsequent investigation led to formal homicide charges for the four suspects.
Following the arrests, federal and local task force members executed a search warrant on the home, recovering a semi-automatic handgun and other evidence linked to the homicide. The adult male suspects are currently being held at the Adams County Jail pending extradition to Texas.
U.S. Marshal Kirk Taylor praised the interagency collaboration, noting that cooperation between local, state, and federal entities leaves nowhere for fleeing suspects to hide. Lewisville Police Department chief Brook Rollins echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the dedication of the detectives who crossed state lines to pursue the case and affirming that the investigation remains active.
