There were 10 professional boxing bouts on the “Glory in Giza” card including the light heavyweight match between Tani and Daniel Serhiyovych Lapin, 28, of Kyiv, Ukraine. The French boxer is 6’0″ tall and his Ukrainian opponent is 6’6″ tall.
Danrex Tapdasan served as the referee while Matteo Montella, Mikael Hook and Manuel Oliver Palomo were the judges. The referee stopped the fight after 1 minute and 35 seconds in the fourth round when Tani defeated Lapin via technical knockout.

In the main event, Rico Verhoeven, 37, of the Netherlands challenged World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, 39, of Ukraine. The challenger lost to the defending champion via technical knockout after 2 minutes and 59 seconds in the 11th round.
Including Egypt, France, the Netherlands and Ukraine, a total of 15 countries were represented. The others were Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cuba, England, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Uganda, the United States and Uzbekistan.
Tani solely represented France. Lapin and Usyk were the only representatives of Ukraine.
