Shubila Stanton, 23, from Dar es Salaam, won Miss Universe Tanzania in 2019 while studying environmental science and modeling. Originally from Morogoro, she previously held the title of Miss Morogoro. Stanton also represented Tanzania at Miss Universe 2019 but did not place. The 2024 edition will feature 13 candidates.
